I saw it last night and enjoyed it.
    Better than 'The Dark Knight.'

I was managing a comic book store when the comics came out and it was true greatness then. This movie is close to that, but very much of its time. And the violence is as graphic as it ought to be, but I'm sure was stunning to the unitiated.
No one walked out of my 2 p.m. showing because I was the only one there.

With apologies to Outtie, who I now hate for turning me on to these youtube nuggets of brilliance

Nice! I hadn't seen that one yet.

You really never saw the "I'm a Marvel....and I'm a DC" stuff on youtube before?

One of my favorites from last summer, just for Batman's line at the end.

    You might want this then:

The complete Watchmen animated motion comic on DVD

Only flaw is that they use one guy to do all the voices. Other than that it plays like the old 1960s Spiderman animated shows.

    Thought it was excellent.
No one walked out during my screening. For some, it's understandable that the violence might be a bit overwhelming.
It just raises my hackles to think of those who walk out because it was "boooring."
No, it's not boring. You simply have the attention span of a hummingbird.

My memory of the graphic novel (read all the way back at two weeks ago) is fuzzy: Did Dr. Manhattan blow up people with guts flying, or did he just vaporize them?
