    Piece of shit movie whose fans act like they enjoyed it because they're sophisticated artistic types. Anyone who doesn't like it is simple-minded.

    The reality is that it just sucks.

    I loved the book. The movie didn't do much for me, though I've only seen it once.

    I liked it a hell of a lot. The movie was about as faithful to the book as could be expected and Johnny Depp was great in it.

    One thing is for sure, after reading the book listening to "White Rabbit" has never been the same.
