Just read that story in Playboy the other night. Guy comes across as a real arrogant asshole, can't believe how stupid he was to fall in to this scam.

Also can't believe what a celebrity this guy apparently is in Philly. I mean, it's not like he's the QB for the Eagles or hits cleanup for the Phillies, he's a fucking weatherman.

This falls in the better late than never category. The story is three days old and counting.
TV types are celebrities to many in Philly. Sort of works that way in a lot of places.
Bolaris is a good guy but tends to act like he's the big dick in the room, which ultimately costs him. He'll be rehired again. He's too good to stay jobless for long.

  5. I am constantly amazed by the "celebrity" of non-national TV people.

Came out with that admission years ago in these parts. Been a subscriber since 1980, I am comfortable with that.

Why would you leak a story about you getting drugged and duped by some bimbos to a newspaper?

Yeah, he was an easy target for that one but the other stations also goofed.

    A) Playboy isn't a newspaper, it's a porn magazine.

    B) He probably thought his employers didn't read porn magazines.

If you read the story, you'd find that the station has accused him of leaking it to the Daily News, which is where Playboy got wind of it.

Playboy is as much of a porn magazine as Maxim is.

I stopped subscribing when I gave up on them coming out with a "Girls of the OHL West" issue.
