"America needs more of these go-getters," Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch said.

As somebody who did LSD many, many years ago, I couldn't imagine driving an electric golf cart let alone an 18-wheeler while tripping.

Dock Ellis doesn't see what the big deal is.

Pitching =/= driving a fully-loaded big rig while tripping balls.

I guess he might have micro-dosed or something.

I'm inclined to think it is impossible, no matter what he says. What are the odds of a hopped up, sleep-deprived trucker navigating all this
    • The local streets of Seattle just to get on the interstate.
    • Snoqualmie Pass
    • The Rockies through Idaho and Montana
    • City traffic in Minneapolis, Chicago, Cleveland and Buffalo, among other places.
    • Toll plazas in five different states.
    • Lord knows how many weigh stations.

If he knows how to drive truck I don't see any reason why this isn't possible. And, I highly doubt he's the only hopped up driver out there.

It blows my mind that it's only an hour and change longer to go through the UP than through Chicago. But I guess that shortcut through Canada and the slog through Chicago traffic makes up for it.

I'm betting it is way longer than that because Google Maps probably doesn't account for two international border crossings.
