Cox Media Group is expanding its SEC website, and we're looking for full-time employees for the following positions:

    SEC Assistant Editors

We’re looking for experienced editors capable of planning/organizing a budget, developing feature content, coaching writers, and carrying out the company’s vision for our SEC product. Each editor is in charge of reporters for three SEC teams on a daily basis. Familiarity and past experience with the SEC is a plus. You will need to relocate to Atlanta headquarters.

If you're interested, please do two things: Please email a copy of your resume and a short summary on why you think you'd be a good fit to SECBloggers@gmail.com. The official job posting is here on Cox's website under "Sports Planning Editor and Multi-Media Sports Reporter."

Note: This job is not affiliated with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, so please do not contact them.

Yes, why would anyone think this is affiliated with the AJC? The beginning of the job posting says: "Cox Media Group, in conjunction with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, is seeking a Sports Planning Editor .... "

And the OP is AJC SEC.

So is this website still expanding wildly or do they just have a lot of turnover?

    Seems for the moment expanding.

"not affiliated with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution"

Not affiliated? Seems weird since half the writers' twitter bios invoke the letters AJC. Perhaps should say, doesn't run through their newsroom, but decidedly affiliated.

Maybe they're trying to cut down on people getting shady Braves credentials. [/crossthread]
