i hope you asked about the quality of the stalls, too. after three days and some food, you'll be spending a fair amount of time in the shitter. at least i would.

i wish you'd done this a couple years ago. i used to live in minneapolis and would've stopped by to meet you and have a couple with you (then i could say esquire magazine got me hammered).

As tempting as three days in Reggie's Skyway Lounge would be, I fear it's something else -- and I couldn't take three days in Nye's....

Besides, the best bar in the country is at 2045 Packard Rd. in Ann Arbor,.... especially since Norm moved down South...

    Fraser's?

And BTW Jonesy, if you have time stop by Stand Up Franks. Strongest. Drinks. Ever. Order a Jack and Coke all they do is open the coke next to the glass and blow on the top of it.

Hey everybody, thanks for the best wishes for a drunk bastard.

Just to clarify, because I've received a few PMs: Yes, I'm serious, and yes, I wouldn't mind some company. Looks like a couple of folks are going to make the trip. Everyone else is welcome to join us.

Jones, I don't know if you believe in karma, but you must have saved a roomful of babies from an inferno to deserve such good fortune.

Are your editors giving you a cutoff amount for drinks in a day? How are you supposed to stay sober enough to recall the latter parts of the day at the best bar in America?
