    Yeah, so many have fallen prey to Michigan's wily charms, only to find out too late that the auto economy is going down the chutes, it gets cold in the winter, and the Super Bowl is not in Detroit every year. Lying hussy.

    I hate to say it, but some people on this board don't realize there is no "right way" to run a newspaper any more in most markets. With the easy money of classified gone for good to free and cheap Web sites, it's not possible any more to make money with a newspaper. This isn't 1992 or 2001, and we're no longer talking about greedy idiot publishers trying to keep profit margins at 20+% to keep investors satisfied.

    Newspapers simply are not viable businesses any more.
