    I was struck by the $431/month cost for utilities (you don't need heating, and no month has an average high temperature above 89).

    Dude. $431? I pay, at most, $100 for heating, air, water and FIOS internet.

    The guess here is that it's a lot like Hawaii. A little more expensive and not as bottomless a supply of anything and everything as one might find on the Continental 48 ... but not as bad as that list that was linked.

    What I can say FWIW ... BCK is a straight shooter and a decent man. He will not BS you ... can verify that if he thought the place stunk, he would not have put the posting on the board.
