Wow. Really? Just crazy.

 

I think Rolling Stone did an article on the kid last year for the 20th anniversary.

 

Upon further research, this photo of Spencer Elden was actually taken in 2008, when he was 17.

This is him last year, the 20th anniversary of the album, though it's not nearly as cool because he's not in the pool.

I heard a Green Day song on a classic rock station the other day.

 

I would have shot my radio.

 

I don't listen to regular radio much, but awhile back I was listening to the classic rock station and in a row, they played "Even Flow", "Black Hole Sun", "Plush" and "Under the Bridge"

I felt really fucking old...

 

But that was a solid 16-minute block of music.

 

Without question...

I was flashing back to my senior year of high school and my first two years of college.

 

Baseball America's latest issues lists the youngest players in each minor league. There are some 1994's on the list.

 

Eh, you're not really old until they follow those four songs with an ad for a raised toilet seat.

You know -- the kind of ad that still gets placed in newspapers ...
