"Walking with Dinosaurs" live show advice

"The Experience" here in a couple of weeks and my 5-year-old HAS to go.
Tickets are quite salty and I am not sure what level or how much I should spend.
Has anyone here been to the live show and can tell me how close is close enough or if the really close are too close. It seems to me from the youtube vids I have seen that maybe sitting too close may not be as good as sitting back a ways.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
