No way Palmeiro or Gonzalez get in.

Here is who I believe should be voted in.

    Alomar
    Bagwell
    Blyleven
    Larkin
    E. Martinez
    Mattingly
    McGriff
    Walker
    Raines

Alomar could be the only one in this time.

Kirk Rueter is on the ballot? Really?

Alomar should be a shoe in this year, he barely missed it last year.

I have no clue why Kirk Rueter is on the list, he definitely doesn't belong on it.

Calm down! Holy crap, I just copied and pasted the title from TSN and it came in all caps.

My list in order of how deserving I think they are:

    Alomar
    Bagwell
    Blyleven
    Raines
    E. Martinez
    Trammel
    Larkin

    Just missing:
    McGriff, Mattingly, Murphy, Morris

    Alomar and Blyleven.

The rest are in the Hall of Very Good.

Alomar's within spittin' distance, and Bagwell and Blyleven also have a chance. Eventually, I can see McGriff getting a headline.

Alomar could also be a shoo-in

Bagwell gets in. Numbers are terrific, especially for a 15-year career cut short with injury. He has a great base runner, a tremendously smart player and a damn good defensive player. Had he stayed healthy or not played 9 years in the Astrodome, he reaches 500 HRs easily. That being said, he was only 51 shy. Still has gaudy batting average, walk, runs scored and RBI numbers. No link to steroids.

We've done this before, but I can't imagine Bagwell on the outside unless you're convinced he was juiced.

But without proof or even a strong link like so many others have -- and heretofore there is none -- the writers can't keep Bagwell out under those suspicions alone.
