Vote on the fate of Bonds' baseball

    No way would Cooperstown display an asterisk-marked ball. Not a chance. They'd go without the ball before they did that. They're not going to enshrine someone else's editorial comment, no matter how popular it might be.

    Which is why I hope the guy covers it in asterisks, that way there is no way in hell it gets inside the HOF, just like the Big Cheater himself.

    You don't deface this ball, no matter how much you dislike Bonds -- and I don't like that pecker. I'm too big a fan, a student of the game to ruin any artifact that someone could some day admire. Asterisk or not on the record, it shouldn't be anywhere near the ball. No. 756 is history, and it should be in Cooperstown for people to debate, not branded in some douche bag's bedroom.
