    Salary cap or no, MLB has more parity than the NFL.

    Oh, and knock me over with a feather that the teenage volleyball player in this thread made up a lie to cover her ass.

    I honestly would've been more surprised had her story turned out to be true.

    Parity should not be the goal. A level enough playing field that gives all teams reasonably comparable opportunities to win should be the goal. If some teams take those opportunities and dominate and others drop the ball and suck based on merit, so be it.

    Regarding the last bit, that is your opinion based on personal bias, not based on the information that was available at the time.
