Viva Suck-lin! (running thread)

I've been to Laughlin. A few times.
When I/we showed up, we brought down the median age about 65 years.
I don't watch much TV, but I'm watching this...

 

It's an awful thread title, but so are about a third of the threads on this board. most of which have titles that have nothing to do with the thread, which is why we have so many threads on the same topic...

 

To clarify: I have no problem with the thread title. Just wish the actual post had included the name of the show. Because not all of us would have known.

Saying "Viva Laughlin might be the worst show on TV" doesn't lessen anything. Clarifies a lot.

It needed a little less conversation, a little more action....

Honestly, I applaud CBS for reaching a little bit. The network didn't need another cop show or reality show. That said, the show wasn't weird enough. It needed more singing and not just over the soundtrack, and the show's look was pretty drab.

 

I liked the show it was based on, but somehow they sucked the life out of it.

 

I think the first page of this thread might be funnier than the show.
Mainly due to iJAG's posts.

 

I think, from what I've read, constipation is funnier than the show.

 

It's very rare when I read something previewing a show and immediately think

"Oh Christ, what are they thinking?" and then the show becomes a hit...

Hopefully, Cavemen will be next...
