Vitale kiss 'no laughing matter'

I wound up next to her for a little while in the tunnel at halftime of the UGA-Kentucky game a few weeks ago. Still pretty stunning when you're up close.

The behavior *may* be inappropriate, I agree. But unless you know that Judd was offended, I find it ridiculous to project your own feelings onto the situation without, say, making a phone call to Judd to try and get her side. And sure, she likely would have made no comment, because as you said, there is no benefit to her to do so, BUT THAT'S STILL F-ING JOURNALISM. Sometimes people DO talk. And maybe they confirm your thesis and maybe they shoot it down. To just wrote "maybe she was horrified" is the height of laziness, and (I assume you would appreciate me pointing this out) essentially inserting your own advocacy into a news item.

And to add to your point, if they shoot down the writer's thesis, it shoots down the column. Or, even a "no comment" would weaken the thesis considerably.
