    Damn straight.

    So he's mortal, now.

Still the best ever, in hardball.

Padres to add Jim Palmer, Tim McCarver, Dick Vitale, Mel Allen and Dr. Joyce Brothers to the booth.

Hopefully Enrico Palazzo will be available to sing our national anthem.

When he's calling dribblers to left line drives, it's more than 70 percent.

The best of Vin is 1988 Game 1 of the Series and Game 6 of the 1986 Series and the ninth inning of Koufax's perfect game ... hell, he's great all the time.

Watched a lot of Dodgers games this past season and the homespun yarns do get tiring after a while.

I love Vin Scully and love now MLB Network seems to like to put Dodger games on with him.

But the 88 Gibson call was done best by Jack Buck. In fact, I've always liked Jack Buck more, though that's like arguing about if you'd rather have sex in the afternoon or the evening. It's also one reason why hearing Joe Buck these days is so disappointing.
