    i'm embarrassed to admit i don't know for sure, but does anyone know if tom robbins is the same tom robbins who worked for the n.y. daily news in the late '80s-early 90s? i've googled him and still can't figure it out...

    anyway, if it isn't the same tom robbins, they not only share the same name but also the same ideals. the tom robbins of the daily news was among the most respected and intelligent reporters whose quiet, dignified leadership during the '90-'91 strike helped give me strength during those frantic, confusing months.

    if this is the same tom robbins, i am not at all surprised to learn his reaction to barrett's dismissal was to join him as an ex-village voicer.

    Makes sense since Barrett's WWE career is taking off. Guess he is going to devote his time to NEXUS.
