Nick Kristof ferrets out the ownership of the leading advertiser for those selling underage girls as prostitutes. Turns out Goldman owned a sixth of the company. They sold their shares this week (I can only guess it was at a tidy profit) once Kristof started asking questions, but they've had a seat on the board for years and never objected to this line of business.

As for Village Voice Media, whose headquarters were the site of an anti-trafficking protest last week, that has to be mighty uncomfortable for the journalists working there.

Always wondered why a publication such as the Village Voice, which surely ran more than its share of feminist-related stories, would take escort service ads.

Fine. Then they've lost their right to call politicians hypocrites.

Does the Voice cover the Masters?

As long as they're not getting a "free round" what's the problem?

    Why?

Because it's hypocritical to espouse every liberal cause there is, including feminism, and accept ads that you know are veiled covers for prostitution.

Some feminists support prostitution as a woman's ownership over her own body

Oh really? Most feminists do a fast boil at prostitution and/or porn.
