Ha! I was wondering if it was you with whom I was arguing that point.

I'd be just as stubborn if I were you, but if Favre doesn't come back, it won't be for lack of trying.

And he will come back. That beer you owe me (or whatever our wager was) is gonna taste good!!! :D

I hope Brett Favre comes back if for no other reason than when I visit my siblings in the Fox Valley, I can view the hilarity of the local TV stations making him out to be Jesus Christ in green and gold.

I want, no, I NEED stories along the lines of Earl from Ashwaubenon paying $20,000 to fast-track laser tattoo removal of "Favre: Packer Legend 1992-2007" from his nether regions.

I mean, I'm a Packer fan, I love Favre, I was geeked up when I watched his first game as a Packer against the Bengals in '92 when it was on NFL Network the other night, the fond memories of where I was at that moment washed over me.

But even I would admit the devotion paid to him by too many Packers fans is unintentional hilarity at its best.

Oh, and OTR, enjoy "Grosston" this fall ... the two-headed monster of fail! :D

The only thing that would have made this post better is if Earl were from Oconomowoc.

Heh. There's a thread on our board titled, "Grossman v. Orton ... who loses?"
The very first post: "Bears fans everywhere."

But they were losers to begin with. Grossman/Orton is just piling on.

    Of course he does.

What really stinks is the Vikings open the season against the Packers. I am going to be so sick of Favre talk by then.

And I still wouldn't put it past him to un-retire.

  12. Thanks for dropping by, Mort.

Keep that Amber Bock chilled, BYH.
