I knew it was when I was just starting HS. Couldn't remember if it was '89 or '90.

"Jeremy" and "Enter Sandman" are entirely too low on the list. Both should have been Top 10.

And while I really like "Iris," I would have gone with "Black Balloon" from the Goo Goo Dolls. But what do I know about '90s music?

Drive was recorded in 1999 and yes Thunderstruck was 1990.

Says recorded in May/June of '99, no?

The album the song is on on, Make Yourself (which is fanastic btw), was released in October '99.

VH1 went by the single's release date. Otherwise there are a couple songs that would not be on their list.

I am not a big Live fan. That is all.

And Def Lep's Let's Get Rocked shoulda been on that damned list!

OK, I know I'm going to age myself, and granted, no decade can touch the 1980s.

Some, such as Twitney Houston and that stupid, "Everybody dance now" song that I hear ad nauseum, are ridiculous.

That said, these are the only songs on this list that I like enough to have on my iTunes:

    9. R.E.M. - Losing My Religion
    39. Goo Goo Dolls - Iris
    45. Hootie & the Blowfish - Only Wanna Be With You
    52. Sugar Ray - Fly
    61. Sheryl Crow - All I Wanna Do
    72. Barenaked Ladies - One Week

Now, for other 1990s songs that ARE on my iTunes but not on this list of drivel:

    "Cryin'" - Aerosmith
    "Baby Baby" - Amy Grant
"Blaze of Glory" - Bon Jovi
"I Get Knocked Down" - Chumbawamba
"Better Days (And the Bottom Drops Out)" - Citizen Kane
    "Joey" - Concrete Blonde
"With Arms Wide Open" - Creed
"Breakfast at Tiffany's" - Deep Blue Something
    "Thank You" - Dido
"Girl Can't Help It" - Journey
    "I Try" - Macy Gray
"I Need To Know" - Marc Anthony
"Walking in Memphis" - Marc Cohn
"Absolutely (Story of A Girl)" - Nine Days
    "How Bizarre" - OMC
"Kiss Me" & "There She Goes" - Sixpence None the Richer
    "AllStar" - Smash Mouth
"Someday" & "Every Morning" - Sugar Ray
"She's So High" - Tal Bachman
"Mary Jane's Last Dance" - Tom Petty

Didn't "Let's Get Rocked" come out in 87 or so?
