"How do you know a Frenchman has been in your backyard?"

    "Hey, I'm French, OK?"

"Your garbage can's empty and your dog is pregnant."

    "Didn't I just say I was French?"

It's strange watching this to think that Vern goes on to become super-cool Tripp McNeely, while his Billy Tessio goes on to shoot Lt. Tony Rodriguez on NYPD Blue.

In 1986, or whenever this movie came out, I wonder what the odds would have been that the fat kid would become the biggest star of the four leads.

From chubby nerd to drunken, chick-banging frat boy Tripp McNeely...

Marrying Rebecca Romijn is even more impressive.

Trodding in Uncle Jesse's old stomping grounds... always a dangerous prospect.

I was watching it a few years ago when somebody told me Vern eventually turned into Cushman on Jerry Maguire. THAT is a transformation.

Yeah, Uncle Jesse and Chachi Arcola are both in the hall of fame in that category.

I think calling him the "biggest" star is damning with faint praise. And the only reason it's true is because River Phoenix is dead.

Jerry O'Connell is a major tool and a 'B' list actor at best.

It is impressive that he got with Rebecca, though. I have to give you that.
