Verizon has to change its ad on account of people not having a sense of humor

    Loved that line. I'm Italian and didn't think anything of it.

    I actually noticed the line was missing from the commercial. Is a silly cliched stereotype more offensive than some of the crude jokes in "Two and a Half Men," which runs in syndicated reruns in the early evening?

    The whole commercial is offensive. Full of the worst Italian stereotypes. Snipping out that "doesn't owe me money" doesn't fix it.

    If it is stereotyping the Italians they are worried about maybe they should snip out the accent and the hair coming out of the unbuttoned shirt.

    You can't be serious. I'm Italian and find nothing at all offensive about that commecial ... and now they've cut the funniest line.
    Total stupidity.

    The owing money line definitely gave it a mob vibe the first time I saw the commercial.
