Who would watch the Super Bowl at a book? It would be a miserable, all-day experience. Try and get a table at a bar/restaurant in/or near a casino and send someone out to make second half bets.

Two years ago a friend of mine was there for the Super Bowl and had reservations at 40-40 Club, which has now morphed into another book/restaurant, and when his group arrived, they found out, that despite making a reservation that included bottle service, for about $250 for each person, they were seated on a patio with a 12 inch tv in 50-degree weather.

So they said screw it, left, and wound up at Sapphire's, which, gracefully, threw in free halftime table dances.

The California Pizza Kitchen at The Mirage (overlooking the sports book) would be a good place to park for the Super Bowl, if they let you keep a table for four hours.

I'm sure the answer is buried somewhere inside a Bill Simmons column.

I've spent many afternoons in the Rio Book.
Never, ever have I paid for a drink. In the tabled room next door, or the booth, maybe. But, not at the degenerate cubicles.
    Same at Caesar's.
