I planning my trip for May, too. Keep me posted if you find any good deals for then, please.

I've seen a Wynn suite (dentist friend) and they're really not much different from The Mirage in floorplan and decor.

Sorry I'm so late to this thread....the Mrs. & I are 3-4 times a year, Vegas folks.

Playthrough, LOTS of the properties convert a ballroom or two, into "watch parties." Massive screens, remote betting windows, food and drink specials....good times. Your group can grab a table for the day, camp out and have a great time. The group I go usually tried a different property each day. Oddly enough (at least up until 3 years ago...last time I was out for March Madness), the best parties were usually at some of the "locals" spots, like the Orleans.....cheap cab ride from the strip.

LOVE the Nugget. The new tower's rooms are terrific.....they're running GREAT specials on them. Downtown, you have to play at Main Street Station. Good games...brew pub in the casino. It's also a Boyd property, so comps and discounts come VERY easily.

Have to second this. We always enjoyed the Bellagio, but the Wynn is simply newer / nicer.

But they make me miss the Stardust.

Inky, we were out there for the weekend that they auctioned off the contents of the 'dust. Picked up a few trinkets, great reminders of when I first started going out (early 80's). Oddest thing they did, was selling "rooms." Full contents of the rooms (furniture, lamps, etc). Locals were buying the full "rooms", to use to decorate guest rooms, dorm rooms, etc. Appealed to my "Vegas Geek" side...

Vegas is so fucked up, they actually carded my old ass for a pack of cigarettes.
    And don't forget your condoms.

I don't miss the floormen in the Maxim's 21 pit, who sweated counters with a Gestapo-like
    intensity.

Seconded. Someone in my group hooked us up with VIP access here. What I witnessed defied belief. Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton...I now understand you.

This is one of my favorites. Good food, and drinkable wine is included with dinner.

Food is actually decent, and prices are fair.

They need to stuff the strolling accordianist, though. He's a pest.
