    God bless this site, this thread, and Vanna White. All day yesterday I thought about what to do to unstop my damn garbage disposal. I tried sticking a hanger down it. I tried Liquid Plumber. My next stop was to either call a plumber which I really can't afford right now or try to take the damn thing apart myself and unclog it.

    Then I read Vanna. Plunger?!? I haven't tried that yet! Well, sure enough, as soon as I got home I went straight for the plunger and after about 10 shots from it the drain cleared. Thank you all.
