Va. Tech threatens to pull funding from student paper

    Boy, if I were them, I couldn't give two shits about "the school's image." Now, maybe the CT should or shouldn't have anonymous comments. But that needs to be their decision.

    Of course, if you want to be truly independent, you need to stop taking the free rent and the $70,000 stipend. It's hard to bellyache when you're taking their handouts.

    In my experience, student governments allocating activity fees are significantly more likely to threaten to pull funding than university administrations are.
