Used to be a Mencia fan, turns out I like other comics

I think it was very brave, confessing to having been a Mencia fan.

 

Go buy Delirious. Just came out on DVD

 

I rented Delirious last week...I was a little disappointed after seeing it built up to almost mythic proportions on SportsJournalists.com but it was definitely entertaining and funny

 

I'd put hicks ahead of murphy, but can't really argue with that list, mizzou.

Is it me or does anyone else find Mitch Hedberg seriously unfunny?

 

I've heard him some on XM. Chuckled a little; he was no Bill Hicks.

 

To be fair to Mitch Hedberg - you really had to see him. The stoner look is a big part of the act.

I think Robin Williams may have been overexposed but I seriously had trouble breathing because I was laughing so hard when I saw him in concert in the 80's.

As far as older guys - Bob Newhart was the bomb. Definitely top 10.

 

Unfortunately, the stoner look wasn't an act.

 

I don't care much for Mencia. His jokes seem to involve using the B-word ("beaner") as a crutch. He throws that word around like the N-bomb.

 

Stop commenting on comedy if you can't see the brilliance of Mitch Hedberg. You know not of what you speak - go listen to Sinbad or John Pinette and let the grown ups talk.
