    But not SOFTBALL!!!!!!111!

(And Beach Volleyball was kinda lame ... UCLA should have had to beat FSU twice to claim the title after emerging from the loser's bracket. Stupid made-for-TV setup).

According to the official meet splits, Purdue's anchor ran her leg in 52.08 -- her open PR is 52.37.

The 4x4 is and always has been a contact sport. That head-on shot of the exchange zone is a standard for track photographers because they know they're usually going to get some pushing and shoving and/or something crazy in the frame.

K thanks. I just noticed her running through her once they both had the baton.

Probably true but that's 25 more people than watched the ACC Network.

So I am watching the replay of the "IAAF World Relays: Day 2" on The Olympic Channel. The broadcast features introductions of the women's team who come out of the stadium tunnel and do brief group dance numbers. This is cute.

I find women's track and field more watchable with HDTV.
