USAGE/DEFINITION OF: Unanswered Runs

    Agree with your bottom-line point and also understanding of the idea of unanswered being right at that point in the story, but if they're writing like that, the problem isn't the use of "unanswered" but the overdependence of straight timeline play-by-play.

    Thanks for all the replies! Since I knew what it meant, I used it correctly, but I see that there are other (better) ways of more clearly stating what happened.
