USA Today reportedly to give sports staffers bonuses for big pageviews

    Sure. After being ripped from pillar to post about it, now USAT is backtracking.

    The amount of consideration spent should have taken 10 seconds.

    "Is giving bonuses for page hits a good idea?"

    "No. It's a conflict of interest, and we'll be the laughingstock of the industry."
