USA Lacrosse Magazine Freelance Opportunities

    Since 1978, USA Lacrosse Magazine has inspired generations of lacrosse families to love this great game and leave it better for the next. We harness the power of storytelling to help fuel the sport’s growth and enrich the experience of participants.

    We're currently seeking freelance writers for the following seasonal (spring 2022) positions:

    National High School Content Coordinator
    • Coordinate high school boys' and girls' lacrosse coverage, including Regional Top 10 and National Top 25 reports, players of the week and postseason awards.

    • Cover one of our five regions (Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, South, Midwest and West).

    • Edit rankings and copy submitted by other regional writers.

    • Write high school lacrosse features as assigned.
    Freelance Writer (Women's Game)
    • Write weekly features and notebooks on NCAA Division I women's lacrosse.

    • Assist in coverage of Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse and the U.S. women's national teams.

    • Write women's lacrosse features as assigned.
    Freelance Writer (General)
    • Contribute content (game stories, news articles, magazine features, etc.) as assigned.
    Lacrosse knowledge preferred but not required.
