USA Hockey Magazine is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our team as an editorial assistant at USA Hockey’s national office in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Candidates must possess a strong journalism background, with sound writing skills and a solid foundation in copy editing and proofreading. Social media skills are a definite must. A working knowledge of ice and inline hockey is highly recommended but not a deal breaker.
Interns will assist the editor in all facets of publishing the official magazine of USA Hockey, including but not limited to, writing, editing, proofreading, instructing freelance writers and arranging photo shoots. A good deal of time will also be spent overseeing the day-to-day operations of our social media accounts.
The paid internship runs from May through December, but start and end dates are somewhat negotiable.
Please send your cover letter, resume and no more than three writing samples to Harry Thompson at HarryT@usahockey.org.
