Want to join the USA Hockey team in time for the 2018 Olympic Winter Games?
USA Hockey Magazine, the world’s most widely circulated hockey publication, is accepting applications for its 2017 fall internship at USA Hockey’s national office in Colorado Springs, Colo.
The right candidate must possess a strong journalism background, with sound writing skills and a solid foundation in copy editing and proofreading. A comprehensive background in social media is essential. A working knowledge of ice hockey is also required.
The intern will assist the editor in all facets of publishing the official magazine of USA Hockey, including but not limited to, writing, editing, proofreading, instructing freelance writers and arranging photo shoots. In addition, the intern is responsible for organizing and posting daily updates one the magazine’s various social media platforms.
The paid internship starts on or about September 5 with flexible completion date.
Interested candidates should email a cover letter, resume and no more than three writing samples to Harry Thompson at HarryT@usahockey.org.

Don't know much about the Colorado Springs operation, but the same group that published USA Hockey publishes our magazine, and you would get the opportunity to work with some top-notch editors and designers who are very passionate about the game. Good opportunity.
