The secret is out and I am hopeful that it can be put back in the bag. US News has ranked La Crosse as one of the best places to live. I can't argue with the ranking since it's been my best place for awhile.

La Crosse was up there on the list of places I should live. Road trip with the kitties ;)

I'm dissapointed that they forgot to mention the world's largest six pack in their blurb.

Love San Luis Obispo. And I proposed to the Mrs. in St. Augustine.

That list lost all credibility at Durham.

I lived in Durham for a few years and I think it gets a bad rap. Crime is bad in a few neighborhoods, but there are also some great neighborhoods to live in. Housing is affordable, there are some great restaurants and lots of sports.

Fifth-best place in the U.S. is a stretch, but it's not bad.

I prefer the rankings by Outside and Outdoor Life.

Where's Whitefish, Mont., on that list? Gotta be up there. I should move back.

Loveland, CO? Interesting. Maybe i'll take a drive out there one of these days.

Austin belongs, but everyone else seems to have gotten the same idea and moved there at the same time. Traffic is ridiculous.

I have family who live in Upper St. Clair. An exceedingly nice area.
