Never have I been so riveted by a 60 Minutes.

And, considering how many inspiring Mike Wallace pieces they produced, that is saying quite enough.

As much respect as you have to have for Sully for his actions, don't know if anyone also heard that the family invited a print reporter, from the local high school, to sit in on the 60 Minutes interview. The reporter also got an interview with Couric.
Nice going Mr. and Mrs. Sully.

Oh, yeah. It's definitely him. I wasn't arguing that point at all.

For some reason, this line amused me:

I can imagine that after something like that, you wouldn't even think about something like your keys. Then you get to your house, walk up to the door and go, "Well, shit."

3D reconstruction of the short flight of Cactus 1549, with radio calls dubbed in by the company which produced it:

Incredible stuff. The calm, collected manner in which everyone handled that is amazing. Truly a great story.

I love the part just before they hit the water.

    Sully: "Any ideas?"

    Flight officer: "Actually, no."

I like how Sully keeps saying "we're gonna be in the Hudson" and the ATC keeps giving him various runway coordinates to land.

    Really cool. thanks for sharing.

I watched the 60 Minutes segment on YouTube again just to bask in Sullenberger's coolness. Just amazing.
