US Airways Plane in the Hudson River (Anniversary)

    MSNBC called it a regional jet, now they're saying it's an A320.

    Always a lot of bad info at the beginning of these stories.

    Holy crap. The water's shallow there. Chilling to see the tail of the plane just floating there. Fox News is reporting that passengers are waiting on the wing to be rescued.

    NBC-NY says plane left LaGuardia bound for Charlotte ...

    Luckily, it's not Air Florida again with all those ferries on the scene.

    Possible "bird strike". 164 passengers, 5 crew.

    Fuselage is going under. Not sure how many have gotten out.

    NBC-NY says pilot reported hitting a flock of geese ... and made conscious decision to go down in the water rather than turn back to LaGuardia
