Doesn't the guy claiming and opening a package that is not addressed to him constitute mail fraud? And that's a felony in the states, isn't it?

Look, we constantly have problems with UPS and other mail outlets stealing the bats we trade around North America on our softball message board. There have been countless threads on how to deal with this issue. If you like I can dig them up ...

Happens all the time. Suggest that you find out where local terminal is and go speak with their loss prevention manager. Suggest possible malfeasance on part of driver and if things are not resolved quickly that your are going direct to "Atlanta" ( code word for UPS corp HQ)

It's UPS problem to point that they will have to pay you in amount that game was insured. That is a claim that shipper ( your friend ) will have to file. Hopefully he paid extra to insure for $600. Otherwise they are only responsible for up to $100.

UPS is one of the most overrated things in the US today, along with Oprah (but I did that on another thread). People talk about UPS in price comparisons with the Post Office, and what I say is it's one thing to want to send things via UPS, but another thing to want to receive things sent via UPS.

There are drivers who would leave things on a lawn or with neighbors. There seems to be a UPS corporate mentality of deliver the package any way you can. Its one thing to get UPS when you are at a business when you are there, but getting it at your house is a pain in the neck. If they haven't left it with your neighbor who has pit bulls, they leave the yellow slip telling you to call. So you have to wait or go to pick it up yourself.

E-Street, those were some quality NSFW pictures right there. Though, I would say the last one is definitely NSFW because I am pretty sure you can see her sweet spot.

I believe that applies only to stuff sent via the Postal Service.

UPS service is only as good as the local delivery person. I've lived in some places with bad ones; at my current abode the driver offered to bring packages later since I'm usually still asleep when he's in the neighborhood.

You're right... I probably should have labelled all of them NSFW, but since I was at work when I did the google image search to find them and post the links, I was rushing a bit.

Can I believe the UPS guy would misread a 2 or a 3? Yeah, I can.

I just bought a new house two months ago. Twice a week I can count on the mailman/woman/person putting my mail and that of someone else in my box. At least I'm getting to know my neighbors.
