    From The Pipeline:

Kent Condon has been promoted from assistant sports editor to sports editor at the Deseret Morning News. Acting sports editor Aaron Shill has accepted a position elsewhere at the newspaper.

Aaron Morton has been named assistant sports editor filling the spot vacated by Shill and another assistant sports editor will be named shortly, probably from the batch of candidates that interviewed for the previous ASE opening.

    But that's not all...

Andrew Aragon, the high school sports editor at the Salt Lake Tribune has left that paper and accepted a position with the Deseret Morning News with a to-be-expanded-and-developed online preps sports section.

What I heard was the Shill will be helping out Dave Schneider, the previous sports editor, in his role as assistant managing editor over LDS faith and culture – which includes overseeing the Church News.
