If he doesn't, what's to stop his girlfriend from joining in a menage a tois with her close friend and her boyfriend?
It's obvious she wants to try this, so follow the advice of someone else on this thread, talk to her and establish ground rules and then go for it.

I've been there, too, and I think it should be a compulsory male experience.

I'll add this: If you think it would weird you out, then you shouldn't do it. I cannot imagine a situation like that if the gals are at least passable in the physical sense. Then again, people voted for W against reason.

It may change the relationship, it may not. Depends on the level of love and devotion.

OK here it is, boots' take on the situation.
If they have a three-way, their relationship will change. Also, and this I know as a fact, NO MAN can please a woman better than another woman. That's the voice of experience talking and before the arrows start flinging, ask another woman to give you a truthful answer on the subject. Nine times out of 10 she will agree.

Not to be Debbie Downer but...

If this was a one-night stand, non-serious relationship thing, yeah, OK. Why not?

But, if as you mentioned, this is a serious thing I would say no. The girlfriend in this situation obviously has some serious self esteem issues and chances are this relationship will not turn out well. Two people who truly love each other don't need a third person for anything.
