    Our dog just loves Ms.Slappy's new niece... She's afraid she'll eat the kid with us watching, when all the dog wants to do is lick her...
    And every time anyone in the room pays attention to the kid, the dog will run up to them as if to say "what about me?"

    Congrats! If he's a lefty, teach him to pitch -- he'll have a job into his late 40s.

    Fot the past few weeks, my soon to be 16 month old (in an hour) daughter wakes me up every morning around six saying "da-da. da-da." I go to her room, and she's always standing in the crib smiling and excited. When I pick her up, she throws her arms around my neck and says "hug" (actually, she says "ug" because she doesn't pronounce her "h" sounds yet). Nothing outisde of parenthood comes close to moments like that.
