    So does that mean you've contacted all of the finalists at this point?

    Did you read his note? What did you not understand about this sentence:
    I hope to make contact with everyone by the end of this week. It's a process.
    I heard from him earlier today. Not good news for me, though. I just appreciate that Dave takes the time to keep everyone updated ... on this board and through emails.

    Right...

    But the remaining people he contacts could be those who didn't get the job. Just wondering if those who were finalists have already been notified, and everyone else who applied will have until Friday to hear. Pretty fair question, honestly.

    Double-edged sword. Hard enough to be short-handed. Then you have so much work to get done just to get the daily product done that you have even less time to deal with the hiring process.

    New daily and weekly sections for high schools, NFL and college?? Sounds promising, Dave. Can you share some details or will there be a story online about this?
