Unwed pregant teacher fired by Catholic school

Catholic school fires a teacher who became pregnant out of wedlock. Teacher is suing the school and diocese.

I see both sides to the argument, but sort of lean toward the school's stance. The school is a private entity and has standards for its employees. If those standards are clearly spelled out in a contract or employee code of conduct, they should be enforceable.

 

Of course they only do this to women.
