As I understand it, Burgess already had the UT football job once and asked off of it. So unless he's had a major change of heart and can sufficiently convince his former bosses of that, I wouldn't think this would happen. Hope it does, though. Mark's a great guy.

Seems like it has been awfully quiet for a beat of this magnitude. . .I would have darn near killed for it at one point during my career.

Same here, though I would only kill someone I didn't like.

 

They had someone coming in the week it was announced Drew was leaving.

You'd think they'd hire sooner rather than later though with the first game happening in just more than two weeks.
