Saw this in the A section of this morning's paper.
If you're designing pages, sometimes the ads aren't on the layout (they weren't at my last place) but once they get put to page someone has to see this, right?

I can recall an unfortunate one where a paper had a special advertising section for Mother's Day and right next to it there was a story about a man on trial for murdering his mother. Not the best placement for sure.

There was another all-time classic when the SF Chronicle's Sunday pink section (entertainment tab) ran a story about Christian singer Amy Grant on the same page as the ads for the Mitchell Bros. theater and other strip clubs.

That looks more planned than unfortunate.
