I'm growing skeptical abou byedesign's apprenticeship. We get intermittent updates every time a coffee machine breaks or a sandwich artist Tweets, but nothing on this monumental venture.

This guy's time in prison gave him an unfair advantage most of us don't have:

Starman had poked fun at him for getting a $20K loan from his parents to use for his business. DocQuaint grumbled that he thought it was weak for Starman to do so because a lot of people get help from their parents for college.

I pointed out that it was different, not because of the help, but because YF had spent considerable time telling all of us anyone could start a business, even going out of his way to say that a lack of capital wasn't an excuse. Which was funny, coming from a guy for whom a lack of capital wasn't an excuse, because he had help from his parents. Which is why, 6 years later, posters like Starman still remind YF of the loan.

For the nine and a half millionth time. It was not about the advantages that you received. It was how you were misrepresenting yourself. Which is why guys like Starman still remind you of your parental loan six years later. Had you come out in the beginning and said your parents helped you out with a loan, and you were able to use their help to build a successful business, nobody would be giving a fuck about it today.

Your example with your link would be like yourself if the guy claimed that he was a star athlete who decided to go into the fitness business instead of admitting that he's an ex-inmate. He didn't do so. He's been, as far as we know, honest with his life narrative.

I would, Steven. Others, however, keep persisting.
