Everyone’s forgotten about the Russian missile that took down the Malaysian airliner in Ukraine c. 2016. The first time Russian-backed rebels were blamed. NATO needs to thread the needle and make a strong statement without provoking all-out war.

I could imagine a few Ukrainian missiles (and maybe even a Russian one or two) may have crossed the border inadvertently, but landed in empty farmland or forest and not on somebody's farmhouse.

Gotta wonder, though, does Russia see this reaction and decide to push the envelope?

#ZelenskyWarCriminal is now trending on Twitter, which means that Vlad has sent out his trolling orders for the day. Or maybe it’s not trending and Elon decided that it belongs on the trending list.

Tangentially related: this would be an excellent moment for whatever editors and producers are left to stop outsourcing their news judgement to third party social media algorithms they will never understand.
