There was a photo in the Wall Street Journal a couple of months ago of her and Salma Hayak all decked out at some premiere thing...lemme tell you, there wasn't too much of a drop off in quality between the two.

Watched it and liked it, despite the snarky comments from JR.

Ferrera was great in "Real Women Have Curves" and even better in this.

She is a star, but the story was predictable. And she looks/acts way too young for her supposed age. The braces are too over the top.

Loved Hayek in her telenovela cameo, though.

I stumbled upon Ugly Betty this evening and loved it. HC beat me to it. "Real Women Have Curves" is an excellent movie, and America Ferrara is very, very underrated as an actress.

Thought it was OK... Most of it is blatantly ripped off from The Devil Wears Prada...

I thought they made her too over the top ugly.

for a 22-year-old hispanic woman living in queens, having braces is not an unusual thing. i know. i married into that family. ;D

I saw both of them on The View and Ferrara is cute and a very good actress, but as Ace said, she ain't Salma Hayek...
