His mug shot is with the story, as well as a link to a video played at UGA games asking fans not to drive drunk.

I know I speak for at least one other Georgia follower and likely many more when I say: At least it wasn't Aaron Murray or A.J. Green.

No, sucks to be Damon Evans right now.

The Damon haters out there, and there are quite a few, are loving that mug shot.

I'm still trying to figure out why the passenger went to jail, too.

Mug shot photographer clearly must be a Gator fan.

    He was Vince Dooley's protege.
Lets give the authorities time to investigate.
This might just be a situation of inconclusive and mistaken circumstances.

Good God doesn't he know it's his job as AD to drive the drunk Head Football Coach home from the scene of the accident?

Could be a number of things:

    1. Public intox?

    2. Interfering with a police officer?

    3. Passenger offered to drive Evans home and the cop told him/her he had to take a field sobriety test first and the passenger failed it?

Or maybe he was stopped by this cop...

Listen, we're all aware how volatile this sort of thing can turn out to be.

Bars everywhere advertise Happy Hours and other specials, and at the end of the day it only takes two drinks and you will "register" as being intoxicated.

Its scary to think how many times so many of us have "driven under the influence" but not been caught.

Presser at 6:30 with Evans in attendance. AJC has posted the photo of the passenger, who was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge. Link: http://www.ajc.com/sports/uga/uga-athletic-director-to-562388.html
