UEFA question

    Just watching the highlight show at the end of the Chelsea game... Is that a "goal" judge by the net? Is that new?

    I like it...

    Yes, there are refs on both ends. They help with goal calls and I think they can talk to the main ref via the headsets.

    Are they new? I don't remember them from the world cup. And I presume they're similar to the goal judges in hockey?

    They were used in last season's Champions League and this year. I think they'll be used for Euro this summer but not 100 percent sure.

    I think they have more power than goal judges but honestly, I'm not sure.
