I like "whilst." I never use it, but I think about it every so often.

I spend a good chunk of my day dealing with my London office and I watch way too much EPL, so I find myself slipping a brilliant or cheers into everyday conversation.

I use "argy bargy", "bollocks", "sod off" and "slash" (slang for taking a piss I picked up from some Scotsmen at my local boozer) on occasion.

    Argy bargy?

    That's just poppycock.

As well as a pretty good album by Squeeze.

Isn't poppycock a reference to impotence resulting from heroin use?

I thought it was Cracker Jack.

But my grandmother used it interchangably with balderdash.

So perhaps gramps was riding the horse.

"No worries," "piss off" and "brilliant" are part of my vernacular. As is "having a piss," which really is what you do when "taking a piss."
